About this Session
This session will introduce attendees to the IMLS-funded Breaking Barriers project, the goal of which is to strengthen BCALA's support for Black/African American MLIS students. The Project co-Directors will share details on the initiative's purpose and progress. Participants will learn about the forthcoming Breaking Barriers Forum and long-term strategies for creating a dedicated BCALA community for Black/African American MLIS students.
