About this Session
You have the power to harmonize the library's diversity statement with your day to day work by being inclusive of groups outside of your own identity and become more culturally aware. Using ACRL's Diversity Standards: Cultural Competency for Academic Librarians (2012) as a framework, this session will encourage participants to workshop practical ways to incorporate EDIA into their librarianship and provide resources for additional support. In this workshop, we will show you how BIPOC librarians and library staff can identify their roles and responsibilities relating to diversity in their library.
