Participants will learn about the significance of black librarianship by examining the legacy of the Schomburg Center. Presenters will discuss the history of the Center and its role in defining librarianship within a repository dedicated to the collection and preservation of materials that document the global Black experience; and how these collections can be accessed by the public.
