About this speaker
I am Gwynn White-Best, the Library Media Specialist, for the Robin Hood Library Media Center, at the Dr. Ronald E. McNair/ P.S. 5 school located in Brooklyn. My school is a PreK-5 Title 1 school. As the school’s LMS, I have established a learning environment to meet and enhance children’s needs. My main objective is to ensure that the library media center is integrated into the school’s instructional goals. I also created a Makerspace in our library to bring STEAM activities to our students.
