Eunice Trotter has an extensive background in journalism, including as a reporter or editor at The New York Post, Florida Today and The Indianapolis Star. She is former owner of The Indianapolis Recorder and a member of the Indiana Journalism Hall of Fame. She is an expert of Southwestern Indiana Black history and was awarded the Dorothy Riker Historian Award by the Indiana Historical Society. Eunice’s recently released book, “Black in Indiana,” details how slavery was ended in Indiana.
