Currently, she is a School Media Specialist for DC Public Schools in Washington, D.C. She is on the ALA Executive Board, ALA Council, AASL School Library Event Promotion Committee, ALA-APA Standing Committee on the Salaries and Status of Library Workers and is active with BCALA and the District of Columbia Library Association.
