Dylitchrous Thompson is an independent librarian and small business owner. She is a program assistant on the Institute of Museum and Library Services-funded research project, A Taxonomy of Black History Month Programming in Public Libraries. Ms. Thompson holds graduate degrees in Library and Information Science and Adult Education and Training. Her interests include adult education, service to older adults and non-traditional students.


Black Woman Librarian, actively works with students to increase their critical information literacy skills, motivate and educate learners of varying backgrounds, and identify opportunities for dismantling systemic oppression, while finding multifaceted collaborative solutions to LIS challenges.
