Alexandra Rivera is a librarian at the University of Michigan focusing on student success and community engagement. She directs the Peer Information Consulting Program and K-12 initiatives and is liaison to UM’s Detroit Center. She is on the ALA Executive Board and is vice president for the Joint Council of Librarians of Color, Inc. Board of Directors. She holds degrees from Northern Arizona University (B.S.) and the University of Michigan (M.L.I.S.).
