About this speaker
Alex Simmons is an award-winning freelance writer of plays, books, and comics; He’s written for Disney Books, Penguin Press, Simon and Schuster, DC Comics, and Archie Comics. He is the creator of the acclaimed adventure comic book series, Blackjack, and he’s developed concepts and scripts for several animation projects. As a teaching artist Simmons has developed and taught master classes and workshops for students and educators across the planet. Simmons is the founder of Kids Comic Con.
